In stock
The Big Blue bullfloat is a popular concrete finishing tool which is avialable in various sizes. Customise your Big Blue to suit your requirements.
This page also displays a range of accessories which are used to give the Big Blue float of your choice access to the concrete. Snap handles (Aluminium connecting poles) are essential to send your float out on the concrete. A Knucklehead Tilt-action Gearbox is also an essential component which bolts onto your float and allows the operative to twist the pole (snap handle) to adjust the pitch angle of the blade, this is essential for pushing out and pulling back the float.
If a brush finish is required to texture the concrete we supply a Float Adapter Bracket used to attach and correctly position a finishing broom at the desired angle. This is a technique that concrete professionals use to ensure an even application of texture while guaranteeing a flat surface.

600mm x 300mm (2ft x 1ft). Big Blue concrete float, this 2ft concrete float for concrete finishing. The blade can be sent out on the slab via a knucklehead and snap handle to smooth the surface. Please see related products below.

6' (1800mm) x 1 3/4" (45mm) Diameter Aluminium Snap Handle.
These snap handles are used by concrete finishing specialists to smoothly float across wide bays. These handles can be connected for extra long reach on the slab.
The aluminium snap handles are compatible with the knucklehead tilt action gear-boxes and many more adapters.

8' (2400mm) x 1 3/4" (45mm) Diameter Aluminium Snap Handle.
These snap handles are used by concrete finishing specialists to smoothly float across wide bays. These handles can be connected for extra long reach on the slab.
The aluminium snap handles are compatible with the knucklehead tilt action gear-boxes and many more adapters.

10' (3000mm) x 1 3/4" (45mm) Diameter Aluminium Snap Handle.
These snap handles are used by concrete finishing specialists to smoothly float across wide bays. These handles can be connected for extra long reach on the slab.
The aluminium snap handles are compatible with the knucklehead tilt action gear-boxes and many more adapters.

6ft (1800mm) x 1 3/8" (45mm) | Snap Handles x3.
Made from aluminium, these snap handles can be interconnected to push concrete finishing bullfloats across concrete bays. Most bullfloat blades will have a Knucklehead tilt-action Gearbox bolted on to the bullfloat. These 45mm diameter snap handles will click perfectly into the knucklehead which allow the blade angle to be pitched on the correct angle via a turn of the snap handle. This pack of three will give you up to 18ft (5.4m) on the concrete.

8' (1800mm) x 1 3/4" (45mm) diameter | Snap Handles x3.
This pack of three will give you up to 24ft (7m) on the concrete.

10' (1800mm) x 1 3/4" (45mm) | Snap Handles x3.
This pack of three will give you up to 30ft (9.1m) on the concrete.

For a concrete professional the Knucklehead Gearbox can be connected to most concrete finishing bullfloats, this is an essential tool which allows the float blade to be tilted onto the correct angle when finishing concrete surfaces.
Bolt on to your float blade connect your float handle (snap handle), this allows the float blade to be adjusted to the correct angle for pushing out and pulling in across the concrete slab via a couple of twists of the snap handle.
The Knucklehead Tilt Bracket, is typically used with 45mm Snap handle / Button Handle (Aluminium Button/Snap Handle Poles), and fits All 2 or 4 Bolt Fresno Blades and Bullfloats.
Compatible with a range of floats such as: Big Blue, Orange Thunder, Channel Radius, Fresno, Magnesium, Plexiglass Bullfloats, Mahogany, Agrigroove floats and more.

Anodised aluminium float adaptor will enable a texturing broom to be configured to any Bull float allowing simultaneous smoothing and surfacing of concrete.
This adaptor bracket is the middle-man between the fresno float and the finishing brush. By connecting to the fresno (usually underneath the knucklehead) this adapter allows you to connect a brush at the required angle to pull the float towards the operator allowing the brush to make contact with the concrete to apply the textured finish. The anodised finish improves the surface strength of the product, this product is also available without the adonised coating see related items below.
This float adaptor can be connected to x2 outer stay Brackets which is the best way to enable the finishing brush attachment. These Outer Stay Brackets can be found in the related items below.
The basic set-up for a Big Blue finishing float can be seen below. The knucklehead Tilt-action Gearbox is bolted on to the float and the snap handles clip in to the knucklehead. When using the bullfloat on the concrete, please ensure that the float is slightly tilted on the desired angle when pushing out and then reversed on the way back. The float should never be completely flat on the surface.

Setting up your Big Blue to convert it into a texture brush float can be achieved by following the steps below. Please scroll down to the accessores section to view the polybristle brushes which are designed to slightly overhang your thosen float length.
