JackJaw Marquee Tent Stake Extractors

The JackJaw series of tent stake extractors are simply the worlds most efficient and effective way to remove large marquee stakes from a variety of surfaces.

The JackJaw pullers prevent the tent stakes being bent or damage to tarmac or asphalt surfaces by pulling stakes straight out of any surface rather than at an angle. They are far lighter & more portable than traditional pullers and made of heavy gauge steel plate and tubing. It’s patented jaw mechanism provides a positive grip that prevents back and shoulder strain that results from the whiplash of other pullers.

The JackJaw JJ302 lever arm gives you a 16 to 1 mechanical advantage. A 50kg down force on the handle generates a 800kg upward force and a 1.5Ton gripping force on the stake.

The JackJaw JJ502 designed for tent stakes longer than 42" gives you an even greater 28 to 1 mechanical advantage. A 50kg down force on the handle generates a 1400kg upward force and a 1.5Ton gripping force on the stake by utilising it's extending handle.

Tilted stakes? No problem! Just lean the JackJaw® to align with the stake. This tremendous leverage prevents operator back injuries.

The JackJaw's Marquee stake puller range is equipped with an adjustable base to pull tent stakes that have been pounded flush with the ground or to remove stakes utilized in stake bar systems. With the optional stake bar adapter (AC0009), the JackJaw's can easily pull stakes from stake bars or flat base plates used in clear span tents. Utilise the adaptor and raise the base of the Jackjaw to perform an initial 4" pull before dropping the base and pulling the rest of the stake. Stake Width/Grip Range is 3/4" to 1 1/4". Typical application will be to do an initial pull on all tent stakes before dropping the base and then pulling all stakes completely.

The Jackjaw JJ0313 is an easy to use stake puller with a built-in digital load cell dynamometer. The Dynamometer has built-in PEAK LOAD mode which records the maximum holding power of each test stake. Users can reduce their liability by pretesting the holding power of the stakes on each job and adjusting the number of stakes used on to hold the tent down. This eliminates the guesswork.

Testing with JJ0313 marquee puller is as easy as pulling stakes and recording the peak values. Recording the readings of the test stake pull-out force on the site plan shows authorities and insurance companies that the owner has done due diligence in engineering the safety of the site. Using the JackJaw 313 is much easier and faster method of testing stakes than setting up a tripod and strain gauge on each stake and then pulling up. The patented JackJaw® Extractors are manufactured from heavy gauge steel plate and tubing to withstand everyday job site use. The easily replaceable jaws are case hardened in AR400 steel for long wear. No paint to chip. JackJaw® units have a zinc and clear chromate plating for long lasting durability and corrosion resistance.
