Working with bricklaying tools for a living can be a very rewarding pursuit, experts have advised.

According to BrickGuru.com, it is possible to build just about anything with enough bricks and the correct equipment.

As a result, the group believes building a structure with bricklaying tools can be "immensely satisfying".

BrickGuru.com added that while major building projects such as home extensions require highly specialised skills, anyone can undertake projects on a smaller scale, such as creating a garden wall.

"There is nothing complicated about it and people have been doing it since Babylonian times," it stated.

This, it added, means that anyone is capable of grasping the basic principles of bricklaying.

However, professionals and amateurs alike would benefit from ensuring they have the correct equipment on hand, such as bricklaying trowels, mortar pans and masonry brushes.

Speedcrete offers a wide selection of bricklaying tools from leading brands such as W. Rose.
