Concreting tools experts may be interested to learn that work has started on a new wind farm in the UK.
Based in the Irish Sea, the facility is the third in Britain to be built on behalf of Vattenfall - the fifth largest electricity generator in Europe.
Entitled the Ormonde Wind Farm, the structure will be located 10km off the coast of Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria and will create a number of jobs once complete.
According to Vattenfall, these vacancies will include control, operations and maintenance positions.
Anders Dahl, head of Vattenfall Wind Power, said construction work is expected to be complete in 2011, with the first energy being produced later that year.
The company noted it is expected to generate enough power for 100,000 homes in the region.
Mr Dahl said the wind farm is in line with UK and European Union targets regarding sustainable power, while also meeting the organisation's own aims of carbon neutrality by 2050.
