Building, a magazine owned by UBM Built Environment, is to hold a two-day virtual conference from June 9th to 10th for construction professionals.

The event is aimed at housing associations, architects, local authorities, housebuilders, contractors and quantity surveyors so there may be plenty of brick tool users in attendance.

Named Housing Now, the conference will discuss the future of the industry post-election and concentrate on issues such as the Code for Sustainable Homes, funding, viability and planning, material selection and design quality.

Entry is free and there will be opportunities to speak with industry experts and technology providers such as Jane Briginshaw, head of design and sustainability at the Homes and Communities Agency, Simon McWhirter, campaign director at the Great British Refurb Campaign and Chris Wilford, associate director at PRP Architects.

Presentations, data, transcripts of discussion and videos featured at the conference will be available to access for two months after the event.
